David began shooting 35 mm. in early life, but the limitations and costs of film development dampened his spirits until the digital age. He shoots a Canon DSLR, and uses Photoshop to create images that would seem impossible with film. Combining images together in subtle collages to tell a story holds his imagination, as well as creating audio / visual slideshows, set to music. He would like to stretch the limits of portraiture, and this is a goal for David if he could just work up the guts to ask people … to sit still a minute. David joined the KPAC in 2008, and is the present receiver of images for the clubs showcases and competition selections. “Sometimes the capturing of the image is just the beginning, it is what you do with it, that matters.”
