Each year members of the Kamloops Photo Arts Club select an out-of-town location where they can enjoy a three day photo experience. The weekend generally starts on Friday and ends on Sunday with a car pool travelling to and from the destination. It’s an opportunity to share skills, build friendships and find new places to photograph. These photo albums share our weekend experiences.

Most of us met in Valleyview Friday morning to explore attractions or photo opportunities enroute to Revelstoke. Friday after dinner in Revelstoke included a guided walking tour of historic houses. Saturday morning included Moses, Begbie and Sutherland Falls before going downtown to the farmers market and car show; Saturday afternoon included Skunk Cabbage and Giant Cedars walks; Saturday night we met for a group dinner. Sunday views over Revelstoke preceded our trip home. After another successful photography weekend, here are a selection of images from the club photographers.

Weekend Away 2017 to Hope: Bridal Veil Falls, Bird Sanctuary, Othello Tunnels and more...

A Weekend in Clearwater. Time to explore Wells Gray Park including Trophy Meadows and the many beautiful water falls.

A social meeting around the campfire Friday, followed on Saturday with a guided tour through wilderness and Pinnette lake, before the evening BBQ at Sheridan Lake Resort. Sunday was a chance for those that stayed to see Mahood Lake and Canim Lake Falls.
