KPAC members enjoy variety. Something unique and out of the ordinary is always fun and provides great photo and sharing opportunities. “Special Events” are events of interest to KPAC members, but not always organized by the club.

The photography department at London Drugs agreed to print, frame and display six images from members of our club. The images for the six categories were selected by club members. This is the first of such a collaboration between London Drugs and KPAC.

Members of the club gathered at the Plaza in front of the House of Learning at Thompson Rivers University to practise their portrait skills in natural light and an outdoor setting. People and animal models were on site to pose for photos. Ross Outerbridge provided guidance and mentoring on model positioning, backdrops, use of flash and reflectors, among other tips and tricks. Even though it was quite windy, the event was a great success and enjoyed by all.

KPAC participated in the 5th Annual Family Day Festival. The TCC was transformed into a festival for kids of all ages. Activities included tea parties, theatre, live music, sports and arts & crafts; along with photo displays and activities with the Kamloops Photo Arts Club.

May 9, 2015 the annual KPAC DSLR course through Parks & Rec was held at the Old Yacht Club

A mix of various activities and group photos. Includes Field Trip to Hat Creek Historic Ranch on Sept. 28, 2013.
