Showcase is a monthly event which provides members with the opportunity to share photos on any topic they choose. The “focus” is on participation.
However, each Showcase does have a stated theme and members are encouraged to explore and interpret this theme in an effort to expand their photographic experiences.

Wabi-sabi is a way to incorporate imperfections into your work to discover new visual elements and effects. When we apply wabi-sabi to photography and to the artistic process itself, we embrace mistakes and errors, not as things to avoid and correct, but as new elements to strive for. It celebrates the natural cycles of growth and decay and the importance of appreciating natural flaws and imperfections that exist in all things.
