May 14, 2021 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
George Barr, an Alberta based author and Fine Art photographer is the fourth and last presenter in the ‘Series of Four’ Pacific Zone Inter-Club presentations. What makes a photo Great? George Barr has gleaned opinions from some top world photographers. In tonight’s zoom talk he shares what he’s learned.
George wrote his book ‘Why Photographs Work‘ as there were not many books available on why photographs work from a practical rather than theoretical or philosophical point of view.” Like his book, George will speak about photography as art and what makes a great photograph. This talk will appeal to “those who want to understand why some photographs stand out from others and any photographer who wants to make beautiful images.”
