DESCRIPTION:Yvonne Hillsden from our club along with her husband Jim have offered to have us come out to their property to photograph their magnificent Canadian Horses. Jim and Yvonne have been involved in breeding the Canadian Horse for over 20 years and are well known for producing these athletic versatile horses. Their property also offers beautiful views of the landscape to photograph. \n\n\n\nYvonne has provided the following times from Photopills for May 9th if you’d like to take advantage of the tips from our in person meeting with Candice on how to photograph horses. \n\n\n\nGolden Hour 7:48-8:59 \n\n\n\nSunset 8:35 pm \n\n\n\nBlue Hour 8:59-9:15 \n\n\n\nLocation: 5089 Trans Canada Hwy West – approximately 10-15 min west on Trans Canada Hwy from Kamloops Costco. SUMMARY:May 13\, 2026 - KPAC Annual General Meeting & Image Selection Night for London Drugs Display
DESCRIPTION:The KPAC Annual General Meeting is required to fulfill the statutory requirements under the BC Societies Act and includes election of officers for next year and presentation of informational reports including financial statements. Supporting documents will be emailed directly to members at  least two weeks prior to the meeting. \n\n\n\nFollowing the AGM\, members will select six images that will be printed\, framed and displayed at London Drugs in the Photo Department. A slide show of submitted images will be shown and members will select by choosing their “favourites” as opposed to judging and scoring as done for competitions. No choosing your own image as a favourite. A photographer can only win in one category. \n\n\n\nThere are six categories: People\, Landscape\, Plants and Critters\, Black and White\, Man Made and Open. If your image is selected\, you will be notified with instructions on how to prepare your image for printing. Good luck to all of our members. \n\n\n\nThis meeting is via Zoom video conferencing.
