DESCRIPTION:This is an opportunity for members to display a small selection of their photos in print. Any print style is acceptable such as framed prints\, canvas prints\, cards\, calendars\, books\, etc. Start planning now to show off your images. This is an in-person meeting at the Children’s Therapy & Family Resource Centre located at 801 McGill Road\, Kamloops\, BC. \n\n\n\nFor those displaying their images\, the doors will be open at 6:00pm for setup. If you have easels for display\, please bring them.  \n\n\n\nIn addition\, we will be acknowledging all of the volunteer work that Harvey Dalley\, our KPAC Web Master has contributed to the club over the years. \n\n\n\nAll members can bring a guest to this event. \n\n\n\nCoffee and snacks will be provided by the club. DESCRIPTION:For this session\, we will continue the theme of using masking and layers in our post-processing within both Lightroom and Photoshop. Tony Kuyper has developed two plug-in panels that makes basic\, as well as advanced Photoshop techniques easier for the photo editor.  Dave Whiting\, as a less advanced Photoshop user\, will demonstrate using the basic TK Combo panel to help users move up the Photoshop learning curve a little easier.  As an advanced user\, Bonnie Pryce will demonstrate how she uses the TK Multi-Mask panel to easily create and adjust luminosity masks within Photoshop.  \n\n\n\nBonnie Pryce will also show her process for developing a composite of a high school grad swimming  in a sea of fish. \n\n\n\nThis session will be via Zoom video conferencing.

DESCRIPTION:Amtgard-Barony of River Watch is a live action role play group who practice a medieval fighting style. They have wonderful costumes and authentic looking weapons and will be bringing their “A” game for our members to photograph. There will be opportunities to do portraits as well as catch them in combat action. They are a very friendly\, fun and enthusiastic group. Homework for this meeting is to come prepared to share up to 3 photos with a theme of water. Two of them should be your own photos and the third one copied from the internet. Be prepared to receive comments/feedback on your images and to provide constructive feedback on other members photos. The intent is to offer solutions/alternatives to possibly improve a photo and to ask questions and encourage dialogue. DESCRIPTION:For this session\, our homework is to work through Lessons 2 (Master Layers) and 4 (Layer Masks) Photoshop tutorials from PiXimperfect on You Tube. The tutorials are free and easy to follow. After you have watched the videos\, there are sample images that can be downloaded for each lesson to practice on and practice on some of your own images as well. For the next meeting\, have a few of your own images that you have “photoshopped” to share with the group and describe the tools and techniques that you used.  If you have had specific problems using photoshop\, be prepared to share your photoshop screen with the group for help from our experienced members. For the PiXimperfect link\, click here \n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\nKasandra Mathieson\, a group member with lots of Photoshop expertise\, has recently completed a very creative project using layers and masks within Photoshop.  She has offered to share this with the group at the next meeting.  It will reinforce our learning over the next month.
