SUMMARY:May 3\, 2025 - Nature Photographers Get Together
DESCRIPTION:Calling all nature photographers in KPAC! \n\n\n\nA Nature Photographer Get Together will be happening on Saturday\, May 3 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Community Meeting Room on the second floor of the Kamloops Library.  The purpose of the meeting is to share a few of our recent photos with one another\, share general locations of good photography “hot spots” on public land in the region\, and discuss gear\, online resources or “tips and tricks” that are of value to your wildlife photography.. \n\n\n\nOf paramount importance is not sharing information which could cause adverse impacts\, either directly or indirectly\, on the critters we love to photograph. \n\n\n\nThere is a TV in the room that can be connected to a laptop.  Participants are encouraged to bring 4 jpeg images of wildlife taken in the local area.  Bring the images on a “thumb drive” or on an SD card so that they can be shared with the group.  The hope is to also connect to the web to show potential photography destinations using Google Maps and eBird.   \n\n\n\nAt the beginning of the meeting\, we will build an agenda for the meeting. \n\n\n\nNon KPAC members are welcome to attend.

DESCRIPTION:Members will meet at Prince Charles Park\, 1145 Nicola Street\, Kamloops at 12:00pm. There is parking available on both 11th Avenue and Nicola Street.  \n\n\n\nWe will have models for you to photograph and there will be some equipment available for member use. Ross will be present to help and mentor our members. The focus will be on shooting in bright sunlight conditions and the tools you can use to help you obtain the look you are wanting.
