Norm Dougan is a long term KPAC member who has won numerous CAPA awards for his outstanding wildlife photography. This will be a wonderful opportunity to learn and shoot with Norm who will give a short presentation on tips for getting strong images followed by an opportunity to photograph the wildlife at both Dufferin and Pineview Wetlands in Kamloops.

For camera gear, bring the longest lens in your kit.  For those without suitable camera gear, bring an extra SD card and you can use Dave’s camera for a session with help from Dave.

Your favourite images can be shared at the KPAC Nature Showcase scheduled for May 29/24.

Schedule for Event:

• 9:30am Gather at the Picnic Shelter at Dufferin Park (Dufferin Park is adjacent to Dufferin Elementary School on Hillside Drive) 
• Introduction from Dave and photo tips from Norm for 15 minutes
• Photo shoot for 45 minutes at the adjacent wetland
• 10:30am coffee and snacks provided courtesy of KPAC and Tim Hortons
• 11:00am Drive to Pineview Wetlands entrance on Copperhead Drive
• Photo shoot for 45 minutes at the Pineview wetlands
