When we apply wabi-sabi to photography and to the artistic process itself, we embrace mistakes and errors, not as things to avoid and correct, but as new elements to strive for. It celebrates the natural cycles of growth and decay and the importance of appreciating natural flaws and imperfections that exist in all things.
