May 3, 2025 – Nature Photographers Get Together
May 3 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Calling all nature photographers in KPAC!
A Nature Photographer Get Together will be happening on Saturday, May 3 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Community Meeting Room on the second floor of the Kamloops Library. The purpose of the meeting is to share a few of our recent photos with one another, share general locations of good photography “hot spots” on public land in the region, and discuss gear, online resources or “tips and tricks” that are of value to your wildlife photography..
Of paramount importance is not sharing information which could cause adverse impacts, either directly or indirectly, on the critters we love to photograph.
There is a TV in the room that can be connected to a laptop. Participants are encouraged to bring 4 jpeg images of wildlife taken in the local area. Bring the images on a “thumb drive” or on an SD card so that they can be shared with the group. The hope is to also connect to the web to show potential photography destinations using Google Maps and eBird.
At the beginning of the meeting, we will build an agenda for the meeting.
Non KPAC members are welcome to attend.
