This competition invites entrants to demonstrate their mastery of light and shadow, contrast, and composition through black and white imagery that strengthens rather than diminishes their subject’s impact.

There are four themes: Candid Person, Natural Surroundings, Dramatic Contrast and Shadows and Nostalgia.
