A project to work on over the summer perhaps? A series of up to 6 images that have a unified colour that is used in storytelling, mood and/or emotion. Example red dress, red door, or red flowers that draw your interest to that colour in the photo.

This is a creative exercise that focuses on narrative, mood and composition. Perhaps you have a favourite colour that you would like to showcase – focusing on one colour forces you to pay attention to shapes, textures and leading lines as opposed to colour contrast. So keep your colour in mind when you are out shooting and you may be surprised with what catches your attention.
